About the Role
Baystone Legal is seeking an experienced Property Solicitor to join our growing conveyancing team in Brisbane. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated lawyer to work across both residential and commercial property transactions in Queensland and New South Wales.
You will handle a diverse portfolio of conveyancing matters, including standard purchases and sales, off the plan contract reviews, and complex settlements. You'll be supported by our dedicated Practice Support team and work alongside experienced practitioners who are committed to delivering exceptional client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing residential and commercial conveyancing matters from instruction through to settlement
- Conducting off the plan contract reviews and advising clients on their rights and obligations
- Coordinating settlements across QLD and NSW jurisdictions
- Liaising with clients, real estate agents, financiers, and other stakeholders
- Preparing and reviewing contracts, transfer documents, and associated correspondence
- Undertaking property searches and due diligence
- Contributing to process improvements and team efficiency initiatives
Requirements
- Admitted as a Solicitor in Queensland (NSW admission desirable or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year post-admission experience in property law/conveyancing
- Demonstrated experience in both residential and commercial conveyancing
- Proficiency with Smokeball or Actionstep (or similar practice management software)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills and client-focused approach
- Self-motivated with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
